This Volume speaks ... well 'er "Volumes" about the market.

Volume was robust the first 2 hours of the day and dried up midday...
However.
Nasdaq sets 2009 Daily Volume Record....

It's not a daily/weekly/monthly thing - rather, somewhat sporadic - nothing for a month or two, then a few to several over a couple of days.
Always interesting though.
John Galt shrugged, outsourced to Red China and opened a hedge fund for unregulated securitized credit derivatives.

Well crap, maybe he has a filter on or something. I sent an alert to him just now. I didn't get a "no response" bounce-back so I think it went through. I should hear from him by tonight or tomorrow, and will let you know if that was the problem or if something else. Maybe take another wack at it tomorrow.From Bronson; note last sentence in his note

welcome to TT, and thanks for soe good posts. I think you will like it here better if you are proactive, like doing a google, checking out safehaven etc to see if you can get an email address for Bronson or locate his website all on your own, etc.
I havent done it this time, but Im sure you can find it.
