Simple, at the close today the dollar value of calls in the SPX from 830 to 900 was $31,735,872 for calls and $2,377,591 for puts expiring in June. If the index is dropping toward 830 by exp the huge pay day goes to the loss of value in calls. 850 is all they need to get a huge pay day Friday.

The options above 900 don't seem to be factored in to your P/L statement of the large sellers. It 's the same players isn't it?

This math is not what I am getting from the rest of the option universe, actually I am seeing 2-3% upside potential to back up to 930 in my data. Perhaps, you are only looking half of the picture , check out SPY, Qs and other exotic ETFs, the $-weighted equity put/call positions are not as bearish as they seem either. We will have a very significant scorch over the next 48 hours. It is either when we dip near 903-907 or a tad below 900, I doubt we will stay there for more than an hour though...

My FF is that we break the 200 MA, hit the 50 MA, bounce of and back test 200 MA, then go through the 50 MA, bounce and hit the 50 MA, then go down lower.

Its gonna take a while.. forget about SPX 830 by end of the week. You think VIX is like 100 or something? Its barely over 30 now.

AAAGGGGGGGHHHHH.......Great scott..I did not say the SnP is going to drop to 830 by Friday....I SAID IF IT DID IT WOULD BE A SURPRISE AND A BIG PAYDAY. I give up

Larry...you were very clear to me... I think a lot of people here are getting too excited too quickly and are creating wishful thinking..yes, it may happen..but then again, let the market tell you, right? :) Trade what you see, not what you think.. B)
I love reading your work..thank you
Irene
