I'm a little confused with gold trading in the red today (May 10th). Shouldn't the news out of Europe be bullish for gold? The US dollar is down substantially and all the other precious metals are up (silver, platinum, palladium) but gold is down a little more than 1%. What is it that I don't understand?

gold consolidating its gains
holding 1198
all background noice
inflate or die!-
federal reserve opens credit line to europe

the miners finally arriving
more to go on the upside

dharma: could the May 10th date not mark a gold and silver high?
I am concerned that we are at an IT top here

the trend is your friend
the trend in gold has been higher for 10 years.
i am just trying to stay on the trends back
before this cycle ends, june 20th ish, the gold market will make new highs
i am still on margin , which i will start to peel back and probably get back to 80-85% long.
fiat is in a race to zero. no matter whose picture is on the bill.
and yes volatility will increase.
we have a ways to go in this bull
and from what i am looking @the problems are being papered over.
bernake admitted to printing. what does one need to hear to be convinced of the trend?
dharma
ps. look for the miners to catch up to the metal
