huh?
i think you missed the meaning of the point.
the comparison was for weakness !
i've done it too, sometimes we get defensive first and fail to take our time to understand the post.
be careful not to transition into a less open minded,.. or even perma trader mindset .
don't get me wrong again,... i feel bearishness if fine.... at the right time, just not all the time.

:bowtie:

INTC?

Hardly.

in the meantime, TLT quickly filled gap..worked off overbought .resting on TL/50sma and gearing for another onslaught to 120s///

I see similar divergence here...

And to broaden this even further, I can add the SPX... for comparison's sake...

BTW

SOX DOWN 8.24 here at 312.83

Easy there... let's see it break 103.77

Filling a weekly gap up was NOT a sign of strength BTW...

these gains are good enough to be considered good on a year! so the major markets have not listened or followed what the sox is doing.

That is what makes a divergence, so no surprises there...

I could get into fundamentals, but simply put... the orders at the components suppliers dry up first, ahead of the PC OEMs, Consumer Electronics, Communications etc.

This could be fall 2007...

The SOX is down 5.12 today while the other indices screamed today... What's wrong with this picture?

(3 charts here)

Don't know..... Have Stop sell protections today on my SSO and QLD positions in case we start to sell off.... I have a bullish bias however....

Barry

guys I don't what is holding this up. It should be falling by now.

OEX Put/Call is < 1 now. This could be the problem on keeping it up today..... It is keeping me from shorting..... QLD position was sold at 59...
