Who watches the watchers?
Everyday attractive women and children are singled out and molested in the name of security by TSA agents who are themselves NOT SCREENED, FONDLED OR SEARCHED.

TSA officers jailed for stealing $40K in cash from flyer's bag...
Prosecutors said Persad X-rayed a piece of baggage on January 30 last year and noticed money inside. He then phoned Webb, who was in a baggage belt area, to tell him about the discovery.
Authorities said Webb showed up and marked the bag with tape. Persad then intercepted it in another handling area, and removed cash from the bag.
The pair later met in the bathroom to divide the money and hide it in their clothing.
Police say $39,980 was recovered from the suspects' homes in connection with the investigation.

Persad's attorney has said his client understands
he made a mistake and wishes to move on with his life.

"A" MISTAKE? JUST ONE???
Davon Webb, 30, and Couman Perad, who turned 36 today, were arrested after admitting they had regularly stolen from checked bags, sources said.
Perad who joined the TSA in 2002, and Webb has been an agent since 2004.

TSA confirmed that a string of security lapses took place at Newark Airport within the past month, the Newark Star-Ledger reported.
Another incident reported by the officials involved a dead dog that was brought to the airport by its owner and loaded onto a Continental Airlines jet without ever being screened.
TSA officials had reportedly ordered that the dog's carcass be screened, but it never happened.

"You check out the dead dog which could easily conceal a bomb, I'll handle the blond." <_<

Senate Passes Bill Allowing Airports To Evict TSA Screeners...

Tuesday, February 7, 2012

The Senate has passed legislation that includes a provision allowing airports to replace TSA screeners with private security, opening the door for the widely loathed federal agency to be marginalized from aviation security altogether.
Should airports choose to replace TSA screeners with their own private security, it would not only mean the screeners were better trained and more responsible for their actions, alleviating the problems of thefts and abuse by TSA workers, but it would also create tens of thousands of much needed jobs for the private sector.
“Some airport executives have argued that contract security personnel are more courteous than government workers,” reports CNN. “It was felt that a private contractor would provide friendlier customer service to the traveling public,” the head of a Roswell, New Mexico, airport wrote to Congress.”

ABCNEWS: Air Marshals Gone Wild! Tales Of Sexism, Suicide and Bigotry...

Managers at the Federal Air Marshal Service regularly made fun of blacks, Latinos and gays, took taxpayer-paid trips to visit families and vacation spots, and acted like a "bunch of school kid punks," current and former air marshals tell ABC News.
One supervisor was even photographed in 2006 asleep on a flight, carrying a loaded pistol, the air marshals said.
The Inspector General's report is scheduled to be made public on Thursday, but according to an advance copy obtained by ABC News, the investigation found "a great deal of tension, mistrust and dislike between non-supervisory and supervisory personnel in field offices around the country."

Blogger exposes major flaw in TSA's $1 billion fleet of nude body scanners...
VIDEO...
YOUTUBE restricts...

"Engineer Jonathan Corbett has published a video where he shows how he took a small metal case through two of the TSA's $1billion fleet in a special side pocket stitched into his shirt.
This is because, he suggests, the scanners blend metallic areas into the dark background - so if an object is not directly placed on the body, it will not show up on the scan.
The metallic box, he claims, would have set off an alarm had he passed through the old detecting system.
His revelation comes just weeks after Europe banned the 'airport strip-searches' over fears the X-ray technology could cause cancer."

In this image, the metallic object is not directly placed on the body and so does not show up on the scan as it blends into the background.

First it was a slush fund for unions, politicians and lobbyists, now it's just another government tax scheme.

Pay $100 to SKIP airport security under new plan
BUT TSA PATS DOWN TODDLER IN WHEELCHAIR

Passengers at airports can now avoid TSA pat downs, long lines and can carry liquids on board by paying $100.
However, the TSA's new fast track 'Precheck' screening is likely to rile the family of a wheel-chair bound toddler who was recently subjected to invasive security checks.

Uniformed TSA screener busted in heroin raid...

Samirah Saunders, 22, a TSA screener at Newark Airport was recently busted in a major heroin den near her workplace — still wearing her spiffy, government-issued uniform, authorities said.
She's accused of helping to distribute the 1,400 packets of heroin, stamped "Green Lantern" and "P Dope" in green ink, confiscated from the apartment, according to court records.

Who's screening the screeners?
