But we are all wanting to leave.
It might be interesting to try something in conjunction to a Traders Show in Vegas.
It's close to our California friends.
I went for a few hours once, and heard a few interesting presenters.
The MoneyShow Features Clowns, Wizards, Psychics.
"It's the country's largest gathering of stock-picking clowns"
November 16 – 19, 2011 • Bally's Resort.
May 14 – 17, 2012. Caesars Palace
In Vegas, we might even get to meet some of IronCrosses ex-wives and bondsmen.
Then rock climbing at Red Rock Canyon.
BIGGEST SCIENCE SCANDAL EVER...Official records systematically 'adjusted'.

New Orleans is centrally located, the food is as good as New York or San Francisco, apparently the winter fishing can be as good as the summer fishing in Vancouver, there is golf, there are plenty of hotels, sightseeing opportunities (plantations, museums, lots of history, the entire French Quarter and Garden District, the destruction still evident from Katrina), and there is a street called Bourbon that is like no other street in America. Weather-wise, the average low temperature is better than the average high temperature in Cincinnati during the winter and February in New Orleans is almost as good as August in Vancouver.I'm trying to keep the air fares sane and attendance up so the far east is probably out. Hawaii sounds wonderful, but it's the same problem. Santa Fe sounds interesting. Also NOLA. I really like that city. There's just something about it. Something besides the food, I mean. And fishing for redfish on the fly is an option!
And, of course, there is all that jazz.
All in all, I'd say the first full week in February in New Orleans would be just about perfect.
"If you've heard this story before, don't stop me because I'd like to hear it again," Groucho Marx (on market history?).
“I've learned in options trading simple is best and the obvious is often the most elusive to recognize.”
"The god of trading rewards persistence, experience and discipline, and absolutely nothing else."
