In Post Oct 15, 2003, the stops had been moved up to 9675 which was hit on Wednesday, Oct 22. That long position is now closed at a profit.
Below I've attached a chart. At this point still no sell signal has been given even though it is very close. Recall on my NYSE tick observation in that Oct 15, post, the last time had at least a 5% decline from the most recent top.
I've also included the Ratio Adjusted McClellan Oscillator from ratio adjusted McClellan Oscillator from stockchart.com to point out the key area of support which may turn into resistance if broken. If that is broken, we may see DJIA 9,000 again. My chart is my own calculation of the McC Osc, which is not ratio adjusted.
