there goes your 1696...you heging?

dougie:

This "downswing is ending" here IMHO - now that we have "locked-in" the Wave B (a-b-c) UP we are in Wave a of C. I am nimbling here for Wave b of C - will hedge after that Wave completes only, possibly 1,750-1,775 range - will only know probable targets after Wave a of C completes.

stubaby

Cs are 5 wave moves. we are in 3 here. dharma

yes that was what i ws thinking too dharma: if so, 4 up should not go higher than 1740ish or it would violate 4 overlapping 1

dougie's and dharma's count looks right with wave 4 up to 1730-1740. On stubaby's last chart is it possible to have wave W and wave X where his blue A and blue B are? We will then be left with an a b c to complete wave Y. Am I violating any Elliott rules?

its why elliott died broke in queens.
i keep it simple wave 3 s get oversold and we did yesterday
wave 5 should make a lower low and create divergences.
i am not a fan of prechter either, he has been wrong on everything for decades
he is the perfect fade!
now in the 80s, he was a miracle man. got into a theory and wrapped all his thinking around that, and it just has not worked
he is in biz and makes his money from his clients not from the market. i make my money from the markets we are in different business"

My PRIMARY Count, FWIW - has the "right look" for my old eyes:

Note: Wave 1 Low on November 10th 1,736.60 should be recaptured for this count to playout - I'm looking for 1,750 to 1,755 for top of Wave b of C around 8th or 9th December +-3 days

of course neither of us know except in retrospect.
i see this over by dec 8, @the latest
i think C is a simple 5 wave move, we finished 3of 3 of 5 yesterday. 4of 3 here . then 5of 3 then 5.

Dharma, FWIW, Funny how Merriman has said to buy around the 9th of Dec for the low in silver..not sure if that is a low for gold but could be..he said back at Nov's 8th letter that look for a low in gold in November before Dec 2nd. He called for a 110-220 pt decline from our top and so far that has been met too. But he will be more bullish on gold once silver passes over 35.70..then we're off to the races I guess. TM
