Should be that the bears are "confident" rather than "praying", and the bulls " praying" rather than confident ?
I think the answer lies solely with what one man, does or doesnt do, and that is what should have both bull and bear alike deeply concerned.

as in it could have been a lot worse. Bulls should thankful, and bears should be....well ah, maybe not so happy Ben Bernanke has a job as head of the Fed ?
