Resolute Forest Products Files Racketeering Suit Against Greenpeace in U.S. Federal Court

The complaint included federal racketeering claims and racketeering, trademark, defamation and tortious interference claims under Georgia law.

These alleged claims arise from, among other things, Greenpeace’s self-described “Resolute: Forest Destroyer” campaign falsely accusing Resolute of, among other things: “destroying endangered forests,” and “operating and sourcing wood . . . in violation of law”; ( causing the “destruction of endangered species” and “critical caribou habitat” and risking a “Caribou Herd Death Spiral,”.

The complaint describes in detail the falsity of these and other malicious and defamatory accusations.

It is clear by the facts that Greenpeace is guilty of crimes against humanity as defined by the International Criminal Court. They claim that “Golden Rice is a failure” while they are the ones responsible for preventing the cure that is so desperately needed by millions of civilians. The fact that Greenpeace perpetuate lies about Golden Rice while at the same time doing nothing to solve the problem themselves constitutes gross negligence on top of the crime against humanity.

-- Patrick Moore, co-founder of Greenpeace

107 Nobel Laureates sign letter blasting Greenpeace over GMO's

The letter asks Greenpeace to cease its efforts to block introduction of a genetically engineered strain of rice that supporters say could reduce Vitamin-A deficiencies causing blindness and death in children in the developing world.

“We’re scientists. We understand the logic of science. It's easy to see what Greenpeace is doing is damaging and is anti-science," Roberts told The Washington Post. “Greenpeace initially, and then some of their allies, deliberately went out of their way to scare people. It was a way for them to raise money for their cause."

A funny thing happened when Greenpeace and allies were forced to account for their claims in court. They started changing their tune.

Greenpeace admits that it relies on “non-verifiable statements of subjective opinion,” and because its claims are not meant to be factual, the group believes it cannot be held legally responsible for what it says.

Their condemnations of Resolute Forest Products forestry practices “do not hew to strict literalism or scientific precision,” as they concede in their latest legal filings. Their accusations against Resolute were instead “hyperbole,” “heated rhetoric,” and “non-verifiable statements of subjective opinion” that should not be taken “literally” or expose them to any legal liability.

Environmentalists tried to ripoff Chevron.  They failed.

The Supreme Court of Gibraltar awarded Chevron $38 million Friday for damages related to charges alleging the company contaminated the Amazon region of Ecuador.

Previously The New York district court found that Environmentalist lawyers told half-truths, outright lies, and used fake evidence and witnesses.

Occupy Wall Street has published the private Tulsa Oklahoma home address of Environmental Protection Agency chief Scott Pruitt – encouraging its followers to take a “pitchfork to him directly.”

Since proving himself the most able and effective of President Trump’s administrators, Scott Pruitt has been the victim of a prolonged hate campaign conducted by green/hard left activist groups.

Security costs for Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Scott Pruitt tally up to nearly $3.5 million for the past year, according to figures the agency released Friday.

The documents show the agency spent $2,726,719 on pay for the team of 19 agents who protect Pruitt around the clock.
