Gas and oil boom to continue.

America energy independent by 2030. (we're actually 80% independent now, but the energy pundits and pols would have you believe otherwise.)

Got news for you folks. We've been energy 'independent' for decades. We've just been strategically smart and sucking up everyone else's oil first, before we fully need to tap ours. We freed up Iraq, not for us, but for the big majors, and so China and India have someone else to suck oil from.

Its all based on military defense domination, and strategic use of world resources. Sure it costs us all a lot now, but we still pay far far less than most other developed nations on the planet, for energy. If all those nations out there wanted to lend us all that money so we can dominate them militarily, then far be it from us to stop them.

America is major league resource rich. Always has been, always will be. And unlike Russia, we actually have a mostly tolerable climate for all 48 mainland states. We'll also remain the financial powerhouse of the world. Doesn't mean someone won't try to mess it up, but its safe to say we have the resources to allow us to prosper.
