I forecasted this boom quite awhile back detailing a fairly similar impact as stated in this article. I recall Mark asking me "are you feeling ok NB?" since I'm usually so bearish.
Now that it's actually happening, is it actually going to overcome all of the other factors, like massive debt (state, federal, corporate, personal), Obamacare, increased spending, increased monetization and debasement of our currency, competitive global forces, embedded and inherent infrastructure decay ?
A depression, and or a corresponding crash in the stock market would seem highly highly improbable for 2013, or anytime in the next 5 years.
It'd be interesting to hear folks opinions on this.
Is it possible to have a depression ?
