The planet is no longer warming. The brief warming episode of the late 20th century completed its course in the mid 1990s, and is now over. These are now uncontroversial statements.

They are based on hard data which has been available for many years on the websites of many official agencies. But somehow those agencies found ways to interpret the data differently, and to continually sidestep the elephant in the room.


There have been three distinct warming episodes since the instrumental record began – 1860-80,1912-40 and 1978-96.




The expression 'The Emperor has no clothes' is used to express a concept of "truth seen by the eyes of a child", an idea that truth is often spoken by a person too naïve to understand group pressures to see contrary to the obvious.

Snow was becoming a thing of the past and children soon weren’t going to know what it is. “The warm winters that we are seeing are just a harbinger of what’s to come,” the media declared just a couple of years ago. The scientists were cock-sure.

Today we are finding that precisely the exact opposite is happening. Winters in Europe have turned colder and more severe. Central Europe has seen its 5th consecutive colder than normal winter in a row – a record since measurements began in the 19th century.

Senior climate scientist Lennart Bengtsson whose publication and citation record is rather formidable: We Are Creating Great Anxiety Without It Being Justified…there are no indications that the warming is so severe that we need to panic.

‘The warming we have had the last a 100 years is so small that if we didn’t have had meteorologists and climatologists to measure it we wouldn’t have noticed it at all.’

The Earth appears to have cooling properties that exceeds the previous thought ones, and that computer models are inadequate to try to foretell a chaotic object like the climate, where actual observations is the only way to go.

A commenter mentions that this could have been the first time when the Swedish media interviewed an actual achieved climate scientist rather than an activist.

Same could be said about microbiologists, epidemiologists, and even just modern general medical practitioners about the early stages of the AIDS, polio and even the Black Plague. I'm sure you'll miss the irony of that.

Freeman Dyson Blasts Eco-journalists

Freeman Dyson is the physicist who replaced Einstein at the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton. When Einstein died in 1955, there was an opening for the title of "most brilliant physicist on the planet." Dyson filled it.

"They’re absolutely lousy," he said of American journalists. "That’s true also in Europe. I don’t know why they’ve been brainwashed."

I know why: They’re lazy. Instead of digging into the details, most journalists are content to repeat that mantra about "consensus" among climate scientists.

The problem, said Dyson, is that the consensus is based on those computer models. Computers are great for analyzing what happened in the past, he said, but not so good at figuring out what will happen in the future. But a lot of scientists have built their careers on them. Hence the hatred for dissenters.

"It was similar in the Soviet Union," he said. "Who could doubt Marxist economics was the future? Everything else was in the dustbin."

I know why: They’re lazy. Instead of digging into the details, most journalists are content to repeat that mantra about "consensus" among climate scientists.

"Consensus" was the mantra that caused the banning of DDT to fight Malaria. Eventually ALL the claims of harm to bird eggs, being a carcinogenic, etc. were proved wrong -- after DDT was banned AND 50 million people died NEEDLESSLY -- just to have DDT's use reinstated.

It was a dishonest effort carried out by LEFTIST politically driven scientists...many who openly are anti-human and see man as plague on the earth.

Also, they killed off 40,000 elephants to stem desertification only to find out -- after they were slaughtered -- that "herds" actually helped the land. They are now using cattle and other livestock herds to bring back grass lands....some 40 million acres have been brought back in just a decade or two.

David Deming, a geophysicist, is a professor at the University of Oklahoma and author of “Black & White: Politically Incorrect Essays on Politics, Culture, Science, Religion, Energy and Environment” (CreateSpace, 2011).

With each passing year, it is becoming increasingly clear that global warming is not a scientific theory subject to empirical falsification, but a political ideology that has to be fiercely defended against any challenge. It is ironic that skeptics are called “deniers” when every fact that would tend to falsify global warming is immediately explained away by an industry of denial.

UN climate delegates unaware global warming stopped 16 years ago

CFACT took its video cameras around to ask delegates whether they were aware of the fact that global temperatures have stopped rising for the last 15 years or so. Hilarity (and some revealing comments about how the facts don’t really matter to these folks) ensues.

The liberal media is lying about global warming.

Just since Jan. 1, 2013, ABC, CBS and NBC morning and evening news programs have aired 92 stories about "climate change" or "global warming." Not a single one of those stories mentioned the "warming plateau" reported even by The New York Times on June 10.

BMI found that out there were more than 8 times as many stories that cited a study or included a scientist promoting global warming alarmism than cited a study or included a scientist challenging alarmism (25 stories to 3 stories). Nearly one-fourth of the stories this year (22 of 92) also connected (or at least asked if there was a connection) weather events like hurricanes, tornadoes, snow or flooding to climate change, in spite of the many scientific critics of those claims.

Of course in 2010, when the weather seemed to contradict the message of global warming alarmism Jane Lubchenco, head of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, said, "It is important that people recognize that weather is not the same thing as climate."
