Years from now, its likely we will all look back and wonder what went wrong for the US, such that it lost its dominance financially, politically, and socially.

While US Citizen's appetite for wars like Iraq, or Afghanistan, has greatly diminished, Washington's or the establishment has yet to cede their power globally.

Our current President is the weakest link yet to come in a long line of rather incompetent leadership, and I'm pretty certain the defining moment will be this recent emphatic butt kicking by Putin with respect to Syria. He's trumped Obama in so many ways its not even funny, but most telling is the fact that now Russia has key global alliances with China and other key countries that really puts it in a position to dominate for at least the next 50 years, until at least China and the east entirely control the global balance of power that the West, and the US specifically is clinging desperately to retain and hold. Were it not for those alliances, Putin certainly wouldn't have been in a position to put Obama in his place.

Obama is stuck now, and globally HAS to strike Syria, or the US will have lost all credibility, HOWEVER, his position with Congress, and American citizens is now that he simply cannot strike without entirely losing any ounce of credibility he has left, and worse for democrats he removes any last vestige of hope their party regains control of either house or senate for the next two decades at least.

Of course, as always, the whole situation was bungled from the start, once Kerry became Sec of State. He's botched everything he has touched, and his big bazoo, opened the door widely for Putin to pounce, and pounce he did.

Financially, the is hugely important, as America's global power wanes, so does its financial prowess and power via the likes of all the greedy firms on Wallstreet. It truly neuters their effectiveness globally, as it also weakens the dollar, and weakens America's ability to sustain the military. Why ? Because the military complex needs huge dollars, and the amount increases every single time, the administration makes these type of strategic faux paus.

Bumbling idiots is how most generals view Obama, and his minions, but it makes their jobs all that much harder when he attempts to position politically, and is so strategically weak minded from a global perspective. Obama too is only out for his image and legacy, which makes his decisions all that much more worse for America's reign of power. This was all but certain to happen eventually, in terms of eastern dominance, but Obama has greatly accelerated this country's demise.

This may not be in any of our grand children's history books, but if you all are still alive, one day you'll be able to look back, and remember this point in time quite vividly, as the Russia President cleaned this President's clock globally, and even domestically here in the US. Senators have come out saying they puked when they heard or read his Op Ed in the NYT. No doubt they did, as they realized that what Putin did and said was not a bunch of bs, but a serious butt kicking by Russia of the US and Western power.

And you thought the cold war was over ??? Ha. That wasn't even a warm up for what's to come.

Putin was stating the obvious when he essentially stated : 'its quite dangerous for Obama to believe America, and Americans are superior or "exceptional" in any way, shape, or form,' and even worse to say it out loud. Its like the school yard bully bragging to everyone how he's the best, and then some little kid comes along and kicks him in the gonads and watches the bully collapse in pain and complete embarrassment.
