the bulls are running. keep in mind 12/31 marked the lows. the up cycles are young and vigorous. we have time for more expression to the upside. i think silver can hit 23-24 . i am still in the camp of the lows are in if we get above 1434. the rally has legs. miners leading , and silver has reluctantly joined the upside party. but commodities in general are performing well. lots of weather realities are becoming apparent. eg drought in california and florida is not as dry , but it too is dry. so the back drop for the metals is encouraging. i do think the cbs, led by japan will continue on their experiment for a little inflation. how you stuff that genie back in the bottle is the mystery. i still think, from what i see. the psychology is such the bears pick their spots and short it on the way up. i did my accumulating. now i will pick my spots and lighten up on my trades. dharma

I have us completing Wave 1 of 3 up today in $HUI - pullback FIBS range from 61.8% = 234 to 23.6% = 241.77 - then Wave 3 of 3 UP. FWIW stubaby B)

I like that count as well as it fits with what I think gold and silver are doing

yes, i can see that as well. stu, are you now in the bull camp? i am still cautious , but moving more and more to the bull camp. no excitement yet in the battered gold camp, which is encouraging. volume in the miners has been an eye opener. dharma

I think we need to be very careful and specific when we talk about being bullish or bearish and what "camp" we are in. I am intermediate term bullish and looking for a gold rally back to 1440-1520 area and silver 23-24, even if we did rally to those levels that does not IMO comfirm a final bottom is in place and we are going to new highs, it is a process. Not trying to nitpick here but semantics and one's perspective is muy importante when discussing rallies and bottoms.

doing a little selective buying in a few miners here, tight stops on these buys as 3 of 3 count should only see small/modest pullbacks here
