Well Folks, it's been very nice exchanging information and insights with you over the past 10 or 11 years on this site... but as I mentioned in my last exchange here, the site has become a wasteland. We have one individual here who was previously banned from the site, who now has sucked all the oxygen out of the room. He is allowed to continually besmirch, berate his competition, in addition to other members of the site. Essentially he is allowed to behave like a preschool bully, and although he says he has some technical skills, he doesn't show them here... no - he's just here to self aggrandize and suck all the oxygen out of the room, punish his perceived "enemies". This is not the kind of behavior we expect from college-educated professionals. There's a saying he never heard of... "success requires no explanations" It's hard to believe somebody could be college-educated and still act like a 3 year old...much less be over 70 yrs old. You know I don't come from a family or upbringing that allows me to suffer such nonsense. I would not stand for this person's behavior in my house... And in this environment, since bullying is allowed, we see others repeating the behavior. The site has turned very hostile, and we've lost the content. I can give you a list of names of excellent content people that have left the site, but we all know who they are... So add one more name to the list, if the site is ever sold to someone else who knows how to manage it or cares about it, maybe I will come back. I can't respect the way this one is running.. So I am out of here! I have a site, I will be investing my time and content over there. Best wishes to all. even the 70 year old troll. Mark, good luck. ;) Thanks for everything...

I didn't realize he was still posting that much. I've noticed some attention-starved posters are intentionally baiting for responses by the title of their threads. BTW, he bragged on a 90s finance radio talk show that he gave out different advice in his newsletter and his hotlines so that he was certain to make the Timers Digest Top 10.

This site is losing one of the best here and the annalist I have most respect for st on this site. Lots of good folks have left. Really becoming a yahoo site with the crap being allowed. I have decided to only post after the fact stuff. Why bother if nobody gives a rat's butt and you get some yahoo's posting chicken s--t responses who have no balls to stick their necks out themselves.

Semi and zoro - two of the most talented and original analysts here - I would miss you dearly if you truly disappeared - it is so difficult to moderate effectively - as I know all too well from another venue - please get a thick skin and ignore all that is tawdry - in the world and on these boards - you do not need to let it impinge on your own freedom of thought and detract from all of the very fine people that are here - in life and on this board. best, karen

You'll certainly be missed Semi. I always enjoyed your volume studies with great interest. I had a spat with that unnamed culprit as well, a couple of months ago. I still post here but it's on a limited basis, not as active as before. Regardless, I have a great deal of respect for Mark Young. He's a class act and has good taste in food and wine! ;)

I think the markets sometimes bring out the worst in people if not self restrained. I see no difference though really in the underlying intent of most that try to over and over tell others why their methods are inferior and that they need to be following them instead. Posting after the fact stuff usually and ignoring the misses gains no credibility. Face it folks, these markets do not care who you are or how much money you can throw at it, it will humble every last one.

It is all probability. No one, is correct 100% impossible in this biz. Stick to 75% plus probability and 1 to 1 lose or more with that edge or even 50 50 with 3 to 1 win to loss ratio and in time you win period. Do something else your going to lose period.

After the fact here but posted before the fact on the blog to the members to make it clear. Plenty of members here in TT to correct me if I am wrong or not accurate enough.
