Just an observation that weekly sentiment polls have become the dumb money since Aug. It was really smart since the start of the year, closely tracking weekly SPX movement. Even when the pollees were wrong, the result was pretty even (like 8 to 9 for example). However, since August, whenever you get too many on one side (such as the week before the Aug crash), the market moves quite substantially against the sentiment. This week again like last week has too many expecting a decline - this is contrarian bullish and probably means we will rally quite a bit more.
