Dry Bulk Shipping Rates Continue To Suffer Dry bulk shipping rates, as measured by the Baltic Dry Index (:BDI), have been declining every day since October 22. Since then, rates have dropped 29% to today's rate of 560.

Also, this figure is getting back to the new all-time low of 509 that was hit on February 18.
