The UK Guardian contains an article which implies that the Donald, if elected, might take a dim view of AMAZON's Sherman Antitrust behaviour and tax avoidance. See http://www.theguardi...ys-donald-trump The stock ignored this risk and is hitting new highs. The odds of a problem for AMAZON may be in Bezos's favour, but they are not zero. There probably are a large enough number of small brick-and-mortar retailers that have been burned by AMAZON's antitrust risky, competition-crushing policy of selling a dollar's worth of goods for ninety-five cents and of avoiding US taxes to make this a campaign issue. The risk to the stock price, although low, would seem to be real and potentially imminent . Caveat emptor.
