GF, how about my experience.

Got married to my wife on 01/21/1980 the exact day of the high near $850

Separated in January 2000 just before the birth of the currentGold Bull.

If I ever get married again or die, I will let you know, it may be a turning pont.

very little posting on the board! no ebullience

I thought it was interesting that Japanese firm Tanaka Holdings is buying Swiss precious metals refiner Metalor Technologies. It would appear that at least someone in Japan thinks that maybe

my work shows 1375 resistance, which we hit.  now 1325 is the death zone for this decline and support.

i am looking for the market to gain footing and work higher

the dollar /yen came into support and the dollar is rallying.  stocks are rallying . is it time for risk off?!

i dont think so? but the market has the last word!

"i am looking for the market to gain footing and work higher"

That's the same thing I am looking for.  I do believe we have another run higher.  So I am in watchful waiting.  No new buying yesterday or yet today.

Peace

gold is in a falling wedge pattern, if it holds, we should see higher prices, i am thinking 1440s is calling

i have and will continue to use the 70s fractal as my model,  it  will have deviations for sure, but overall i expect the backdrop to be the same. =stagflation.

"It is time for Hong Kong to revive its golden days as an international gold trading centre." - Haywood Cheung, July 18, 2016.

Haywood is the permanent honorary president of the Chinese Gold and Silver Exchange Society, and he notes, "We have seen an increasing number of gold traders from Switzerland, Australia and South Africa move to Hong Kong. Some are moving their Asian headquarters from Singapore to Hong Kong."

so far india has mostly been absent from buying , it is usually late august they appear for diwali and farmers buying from the proceeds of the monsoon and harvest. . so far it is just the banksters selling.  although i am expecting higher prices i am on high alert.
