RUT holding up just fine. Cumulative A/D volume, robust today.

We do have an Options Oscillator Sell, but it's just so clear that "da boyz" don't want the market to go down right now.

A/D volume sorta meaningless with NO VOLUME overall...

Not even on OPEX...

Central Bankers really the bulk of the discretionary buying...

It's going to change SOON...

It seems like stupid money manipulating things. That's not sour grapes but just an observation. The manipulation that was going on before at least understood the need for a bit of ebb and flow. But those folks have backed away, now. I thought they would win, too, but it seems not.

And what we have is a market that nobody cares about. That's not good for traders and longer term, it means that there's an increased likelihood that when real selling finally begins, there won't be anyone there to absorb it.

I've never seen anything like this in 34 years of trading.

Semi,

A/D Volume has been very predictive, so evidently it's not meaningless. A lot of other good stuff IS now, though.

As I said before... indicators are like instruments in an airplane.... in order to get the proper readout you must have adequate air through the aircraft's pitot tube...

The plane may still be flying, but your instruments could be telling you that things are fine when the aircraft is about to go into an unrecoverable stall...

And so it is with volume, the "air flow" behind the indicators...

Stupid Money?  You bet it is... so stupid the bankers are thinking they have reversed the laws of Nature...

I'm not betting on that, not with my money...

A lot of folks aren't. This is no fun to trade. That's for sure.

The fun begins when the volume returns... not until.

My 30-min still remains on a swing sell. Even after being on a sell for nearly 2.5 weeks, the position has not made any money yet. So yes, it sucks to watch the price cross the same levels day after day. Like i said before this is a range where the dumb suckers are just cutting each other's throat. We need a breakout / breakdown out of this range to make money. And it will happen. Seen this movie many times. When the range expansion happens finally, it will be a one sided move, with no pullbacks.

US banking system is the buy.  To run up big of course you need to introduce a wee bit of volatility.
