US banking system is the buy.  To run up big of course you need to introduce a wee bit of volatility.

Sure, best house in a bad neighborhood... It's all fine until they find out what is under the hood...

In fact the F'eds already supervised the transfer of some of this DB crap on a stick to some of our TBTF banks...

Amazing how people don't do their homework...

They just assume it won't hit here...

I have to say I've never piloted a plane.. hell I can barely drive my car and look at the speedometer at the same time... volume is great but Price is price. ("until it isn't" of course).

Well, price isn't just price, and you are missing out on a lot...

Volume attracts Price.

Volume at price is the most reliable indication we have of resistance and support...

How do you trade without knowing that?

No,no I understand the dynamics. I'm not disregarding your technical prowess. I'm only saying that In the end price is the ultimate indicator that can not be ignored. Other instruments can at times be faulty but there should be very little dispute of what price is here and now.

Price does not stand still, I want to know where prices are going....

The best way to understand that is to assess multiple timeframes...

Price and volume action can be harmonic or dissonant... I just always want to be aware of which state we are in...

When price and volume action are stubbornly dissonant, that is TREND information.

All we need to know about VOLUME AT PRICE is that high volume highs and lows want to be tested over and over...

We all want to know where prices are going... Multiple time frames analysis. Trend analysis. Volume analysis. cycle analysis,  relative leadership, patterns, all very good and necessary. All provide predictive information. All I'm saying is the most important thing is where is price right now.

If you want to know todays price of AAPL I suspect checking with an online quote would be more effective then using all the various analysis even the best of us performed sometime in the past. It might seem like a silly statement but it has meaning.

I don't agree.  The price right now is not that important, except in relationship to where price is going...with respect to the price targets.

"The price right now is not that important"

Of course I prefaced with:

"If you want to know todays price of AAPL."

I suspect we are in violent agreement.
