Yeah. I can't remember what year it was when all the brokerages set up and staffed night desks to handle over-night after-hours trading demand. When the market promptly turned into a bear, they were stuck with those desks and finally had to lay off the personnel who had nothing to do. Was that 2000? Probably.
Wednesday options are not a sign of a bottom.
P.S. I was just looking at all the crappy action in the SPY for the last week and...hmmm.... SPY has either opened up and sold down all day or opened down and sold down all day on five of the past six trading days. I wonder what that means?
