Maybe they'll tighten. Maybe not. Maybe soon. Maybe not for a while.

Eventually, the powers that be are going to kill this market to send the excess liquidity to money heaven without killing the economy, OR the bond market vigilantes are going to take the market down and slow the economy.

But I don't think anyone's got the stomach for any of that until things really firm up. So, I think we respect the trend for as long as we have it.

I agree in terms of ST it's still on an uptrend. But the trend will change. For now I just focus on the VST, and I see It's Bearish. My FF is in the next three days we will see a deep pullback.
My VST signal closed the day in Bearish mode.

My VST stuff is Bearish too. I just don't expect to get much out of it. I was sitting with a limit order at ES 220975. :P

LOL!

Cycletimer:

Your quote:

" Now is THE BEST time for credit spreads due to the chop and the premium erosion.  One could initiate an Iron Condor if one so chooses.  On sell-offs, sell put spreads below the market and and on ramps like this intra-day recovery, sell call spreads above the market.

My spreads expire on Dec 16th and I'm 99% likely to close them prior to FOMC decision.  Either way, it's easy money this month."

Good advice, that is what I have been doing since last Tues & Wed. I will continue to do this over the next two weeks w likely weakness seen after the run we have had on SPX.  Thx

I'm short call spreads in IWM, DIA & QQQ, SHORT PUT SPREADS IN HD & PM

I short indices on upside and go long (sell puts) on individual names of solid, liquid stocks that have sold off due to short term headline risk
