If one feels inclined to check and name sources, Bloomberg and Reuters do not confirm such volumes.
So its up to what source you trust most.

Semi and Alex's charts are both from Barchart/ Marketwatch. However TOS, Stockcharts, Freestockcharts does not confirm this information. Even DJI is drawn with wrong volume chart on Barcharts. So I believe Barcharts has a problem as far as volume is concerned. Note that the volume number for yesterday all tally except for the graphics.
