Online shopping (Amazon & China direct) is sucking the life out of brick & mortar, like streaming music killed record stores.

Sears, Macy's and Toys-R-Us are all closing weaker stores in my town.

I've found that I can get appliance & automotive parts online discounted at least 30% to 50% off of a brick & mortar store price.

I asked a local shop if they would price match and was told "No. You are killing me."

My smart mouth replied, "Your price is killing me."

Installing a burnt computer board for my TRANE furnace was nearly $500 including the service call.

The local dealer sells them for $200 but will not sell to me since I'm not licensed.

I got one online the next day for $95 and had it installed in 30 minutes.

Agree G-Man

I also have a decent size short position in JCP I have been building and rolling. I am looking for 3.00 withing a month or two.  Also building a short position Tue./Wends in IWM as I expect a decent turn down going into the end of the week. Thinking about longs in TLT as I expect a big short covering rally in the next 10 days.

Good Trades my friend...

so WFC bought it for $100 from WFC - to make it legal:) they - Wells - have an awful lot of non performing real estate on their books.

lets hope they find a buyer for that sometime soon - cannot imagine what the taxes run!

best,
