My seasonal chart is averaged over fewer years and shows a little more structure. Probably worth looking at:

Your chart shows a down January on average. Omit the years with a down Jan, and you will have a better proxy for this year.

1958 looks like it went negative in January ?
Terrible chart - its starts from Feb and has no vertical lines to separate the months.
Its still interesting though
