GO you remind me of the brokers the week before the 1987 crash. My job was to advise them and I suggested to lighten up their clients on the market cause it looked like some type of a correction was due and so while we were all buying on crash day they were explaining to their clients that its ok it will come back and it did so they were right just like you. The big difference though is that smart people become decent timers to make the most of their money not just buy and hold all the time. And in todays markets you can do that in hours instead of weeks now! You'd be just fine but your problem is arrogance and that never works in the end....
The same thing may repeat in a few weeks, believe or not!
