The channel can be a wedge but does not have to be a wedge as long as the following conditions met:

 

Waves 3-4 must stay within the channel created by 1-2
Wave 1-2 equals waves 3-4 (shows symmetry)
Wave 4 is within the channel created by waves 1-2

So far every dip got bought.  I'd not hold much hope on this Wolf Waves pattern.  The market is just super-strong and so all bearish patterns, wedges, wave counts have been ignored.  Sure, this is a monthly OpEx week that is "naturally" super-bullish...........

Nowadays It's mostly the robots, not humans who push prices around.  So be aware you are playing mostly with robots.   If you knows the code for them you should be ok, or the game is going to be very risky for humans...........
