Looking more and more like a LIQUIDATION...

 

Dollar down, oil down, stocks down...

 

Get me out of everything, that's what it looks like.

i respect your marketcalls in the past and your marketinsights.

but now i dont see it thatway.i see a mild pullback that was overdue [5-600 dowpoints in 3 weeks]

as for oil,after years of high oil and gas prices , going down is a good thing imo.i see not a trace of panic anywhere..

of course all that can change,so far in stocks an abc downmove that could be done or almost done.

will be watching it closely..and best of luck to all..

Here's a tip, take it or leave it... Until you see GS break through the top line of the pre-election trend channel, don't have too much faith in this market...

 

It may be down 600 in a short time, but it's up 14000 + since 2009 on this biggest banking fraud of all time...

GS looks interesting to me most of the time.right now its very oversold and might bounce to 240-245.before dropping some more.then in a couple of month we see if this turns out to be a H+S top or a consolidation.as always TWT..

SOXX up 17

 

Today's SOXX:

 

SOXX BOUNCES OVER 1000 again and CLOSED UNDER at 996 or down 2 1/2 points today on lighter volume... there was a rally attempt that failed, but little price movement as it was a sideways narrow range doji.  Out of this we get NEUTRAL.  We have no changes to the guidance - this is still near it's 16 yr highs, so we still can't rule out another rally to tag that high, just to demonstrate there is some strength somewhere in this market... we need to get the SOX well under 990 somewhere to eliminate those probable odds

RUT is up just 5 here at 1358...

 

Today's RUT:

 

RUT ATTEMPTS TO TRAVERSE TRADING RANGE FAILS AT 1361 - CLOSES at 1353 - but it still closed up 7 points on the day.   Volume is not available at this time, but the overall volume in the market today in the other indices were much lighter for a bearish upthrust and we expect the same is true with the RUT... now in the case of the RUT it was one of the few indices closing in the green... it was one of the strongest.  So for tomorrow, we expect some further rally attempt to take this 1364-66 area... So we are looking for more markup, but with a new realization in the market now is that it could fail.  Today's RUT rally was a failure, not as bad as the rest of the market.

Looking at the "fun de mentals" for a second... it occurs that if the health bill does not pass, and that's what they spent the last 7 years talking about, nothing else is going to pass either...

 

Which means all of that premium just priced into the market since November has to come out...

I think they will pass the bill, squeeze it over the WE and sell on Monday.
