Sold my other Puts to soon.

 

So buying the following Put

 

SPY 05/19/2017 $230.00 @ $2.45

I think spot VIX needs to pass the April VIX in order for people to get a price high enough for their puts to want to sell.  VIX is on an upward climb.  I'm thinking a long 3 day weekend with potential military strikes and wartime aggression is not good for stocks.

I agree.  BUT I am really going to try to not let the noise get to me and follow my system.  I made that mistake buy missing the post election rally. Just the overnight mini crash after the elections got me too freaked out.

What is your definition of GAP Down?   It looks like today we did GAP down at open ( Just barely )....   GAP Down for me is to open lower the the previous trading days lowest point....    Other calls all week open lower but not a GAP Down.....

It is open down really. I use my VST system with options. My goal is to get at least +20%.
Sorry for any confusion. Any move up or down based on my VST system I'll take it.😊

AND I only use 10% of my portfolio for this. Bc of the risk of course
