Until I get a new 15 min Renko sell there is no point in shorting and assume the market will work

higher or sideways for the short term.

I think this system will work. Intermediate short hold, while short term following the 15 min. turns. 

Candlesticks are hard to follow because it's difficult to know where the actual pivot is that will generate

a turn with follow thru. Renko is not without whipsaw, but easier to trade I think, and it keeps you from

frontrunning moves that go nowhere.
