Remember how people used to talk about Dr. Copper? You don't hear that much any more. Any you can see why. Perhaps he was replaced by Bizarro Dr. Copper around 2012?

I would consider the treasury market a better gauge of economic activity than copper.  If big money is piling into the treasury market, I would think money velocity is going to be slow in the future.  I have the treasury market now making an interesting bottom that might look very enticing in June after the rate hike.  I think this stock market is toast after the rate hike.
