U.S. Paying 76 Percent of Total NATO Spending…

The US is providing $670,344,000,000  – That’s 76.11% of the entire NATO spending on military.

Greece, Estonia, the U.K, and Poland are the only nations meeting their promise to spend at least 2% of their GDP on the “collective defense”.

Nice new fancy NATO building you got there Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg!

Caviar Socialists love to spend money that’s not theirs.

Interesting that the US "is providing $670,344,000,000" to NATO, when the entire US defense budget is $551 billion, proposed to rise ridiculously to $603 billion in 2018.

Appears this, like all Republican administrations (and their usual propagandists), is a ship full of math errors, to say nothing of the suggestion to not defend Europe and the rest of the world ("America First") any longer which should instead be leading to a 30 or more percent decrease in the overall military defense budget.

Interesting to note that there is actually a cut to one branch of the services in the Dumbster's proposed budget and that is to the Coast Guard which actually does directly defend American first.

Defense in the US is like health care - we spend wildly more than everyone else in the world and get way, way less in return than everyone else in the world.

Trump is engineering the collapse of the European Union by just stepping away.

Angela Merkel: "I have experienced this in the last few days, and that is why I can only say that we Europeans must really take our fate into our own hands – of course in friendship with the United States of America, in friendship with Great Britain and as good neighbors wherever that is possible also with other countries, even with Russia. But we have to know that we must fight for our future on our own, for our destiny as Europeans.”

EU’s predicable problems are just over the horizon.   When the U.K is finally out of the EU, Germany will have to try and fill the financial void.  Great Britain currently provides more than £1.5 billion per month to the EU.

The U.K. is most likely going to close the gates to open-EU migration.  This means that not only will the EU lose the biggest source of financing for their socialist systems, but also that North African and Mid-East refugees are going to bottleneck the social systems of the EU financially.  This will enhance the severity and simultaneously speed-up the politically correct economic collapse.

It Begins – German Auto Makers Fear Losing Competitive Advantage Over U.S…

Germany’s powerful car industry said Europe would need to reassess its environmental standards to remain competitive after the United States said it would withdraw from the Paris climate pact.

“The regrettable announcement by the USA makes it inevitable that Europe must facilitate a cost efficient and economically feasible climate policy to remain internationally competitive,” Matthias Wissmann, president of the German auto industry lobby group VDA, said in a statement on Friday.

Apparently, when push comes to economic shove, the German sensibilities are connected more to their economics than to any need to save the planet.

Germany is merely responding to the predictable future.

We can anticipate many more industrialized nations positioning themselves for the exits.  Anticipate treaty exits coming faster than a fat kid playing dodge ball.

The EU doesn’t want real free trade, they practically invented protectionism.

What they want is a free ride at Uncle Sam’s expense, and they hate Trump because they know the freebies are over.

The US ruling class doesn’t even try to hide its brazen disloyalty: they openly and loudly side with any foreign mendicant – Canada, Germany, et al – that feels entitled to US largesse and is outraged when it isn’t forthcoming.

The “pivot” to the Pacific that the Obama administration announced but never implemented is now being put in place by Trump, for better or worse. Our European “allies” are the past: Asia is the future. Trump realizes this; the Euro-weenies don’t know that their day is over.

Who is a better symbol of that degeneration than Merkel, presiding over a country that has been self-emasculated both militarily and culturally?

Donald Trump is preparing a reorganisation of international relations.

This change will occur through a complete and sudden upheaval directed against the interests of the transnational ruling class.

Donald Trump’s objective thus consists both of reinvesting transnational capital in the US economy and turning the Pentagon and the CIA away from their current imperialist functions with National Defense.

In order to do so, he has to withdraw from international commercial treaties and dissolve the inter-governmental structures which consolidate the old order.

The Trump Peace Train sends the War Party into a panic.

First it was the meet up with Korean leader Kim Jong-un

Then the Helsinki summit with Putin

Finally Trump is raising the issue of the 35,000 American troops in Germany

The national security bureaucracy and the ThinktankWorld have a vested interest in maintaining a cold war status quo that should have ended when the Berlin Wall fell.

They are horrified by Trump’s “America First” foreign policy views, and they are out to stop him by any means necessary – because his victory means the end of their worldview and their careers.

Under Pressure From Trump, Germany Boosts Military Spending

Experts say the military budget - now slated to reach around 43 billion euros in 2019 - would have to increase by 2 billion euros a year through 2021 and 3 billion euros a year after that even to meet Chancellor Angela Merkel’s promise to hit 1.5 percent of GDP by 2024.

Congress Forbids NATO Withdrawal    https://www.zerohedg...nato-withdrawal

The Democrat-controlled House followed the Senate this week in passing legislation forbidding the president from withdrawing from NATO and affirming undying US support for the outdated Cold War alliance.

Is NATO really about defense? Or is it a jobs program for the military industrial complex?
