This week, President Trump showed once again that, unlike his predecessor, he reads the fine print, and is not swayed by the unscientific blather of the internationalists who use fine talk to cover power-grabbing, anti-Americanism, and corruption.

To date the U.S. has contributed $1 billion to the Accord's "Green Fund" and all the other signatories have contributed exactly ZERO.

Neither President Donald Trump nor his secretary of state is confused about the country he represents nor stupid enough to believe that he represents Paris rather than Pittsburgh.

Here are some of the provisions, not reported by the mainstream press, which underscore that it was no more than a redistribution scheme designed to hamper U.S. competitiveness papered over by gaseous, meaningless platitudes about saving mankind.

It was designed to limit American competitiveness and, at best, could have done virtually nothing to affect the climate while impoverishing us and displacing U.S. workers.

Professor Fritz Vahrenholt is one of the fathers of Germany's environmental movement and was the director of RWE Innogy, one of Europe's largest renewable energy companies

Vahrenholt: the media reads the Paris Accord for the first time and is shocked that it is not even a binding agreement, but instead one that only involves intentions by the rich countries to transfer cash to developing nations $100 billion annually beginning in 2020.

He wonders why “neither Obama nor Merkel, Juncker or Macron have found it necessary so far to explain to their citizens the agreement burdens their own citizens to the benefit of no. 1 emitters China, and India“.

"We can be happy that the American President Trump has seen this anachronism, and what on earth moved his predecessor to such a disadvantageous agreement?”

"Through climate policy we will de facto redistribute global wealth… One has to free himself of the illusion that international climate policy is environmental policy.” -

Japan, China, and South Korea violate Paris agreement by funding coal in Indonesia

The three nations – all members of the Paris climate agreement – are involved with 18 of 22 coal power deals made in Indonesia since 2010, according to a report from Market Forces, an Australia-based environmental finance organization.
