Coffee has had its best upside rally in a long, long time, but now it is overbought so I am looking for a short signal (not quite here yet) and maybe a retest of the recent lows (sometime in the near future).

Good luck and good trading.

I used to trade coffee quite a bit on the short side back in 2012.  Had some good trades and also had my head ripped off before.  Have not followed it closely in a while.  Market would open up too early in the morning/late nite depending on where you live, and b/c can be so volatile and a big contract, it would bother my sleep b/c I'd always be thinking about it when I had a position on.  Anyway, checked it out and that recent wash out did look inviting for a mean reversion.

What are you using on indicators 2 and 4 if I may ask?  Canned stuff or is it custom?

The CCI, with some context, can rule the world. But then so can RSI and MACD and any other blah, blah if one puts enough persistence, experience and discipline into them.

Short.  Stop on signal reversal.

Moved the stop to breakeven.
