with dow component BA up 17.... and 15 of the components are down.....and according to the sec the stabilization rule is in effect today which in effect sez if one dow component is advanced hugely on news the specialists on the exchange can stabilize the dow using their pricing powers....this works the other way also...this was evident in the 90s when dow component general foods was bot out......got everyone bearish cause they could see GF held the dow up......after GF was bot out the dow kept going anyway.....so what everybody knows is worthless eh?

Indeed...I think that BA was worth some 110 Dow points today alone.
BTW...I don't think it's been acknowledged, but as you told everyone here for as many years that I can remember, great call on our seeing single digit implied volatility readings that would accompany the "epicenter of wave 3".
