After some further research it is starting to look like we might get the final high this Friday August 25th, which is exactly 30 years since the August 25th, 1987 peak. That would be a nice and perfect 30 year gann cycle top from that all important August 25th date.
I would absolutely love to see this market rally right into that date when tops are quite likely to occur this time of year.

Semi, many thanks for your analysis.
Geopolitical uncertainty is certainly increasing Volatility...and volume will start to kick in after the summer recess soon.
However, to get me LT Bearish, I will need a monthly close below 2350 on the S+P.
I will turn IT Bearish with a weekly close below 2390.
ST. I am enjoying a very pleasant correction on the short side. but I am planning to scale in long this week for an attempt in September to test the ATHs. (2390-2406 area) Bulls may get stuck at 2460, but a blow out to new ATHs would certainly get the Bulls frothing and the bears capitulating....till then, position sizes will remain small and my stops managable!

GS target now is 213...
Unless it can test 213 and break it, they will make their "not nuf bears" argument and run it up, along with the market again...
So just wait for that 213 test, that's going to be a deal maker or breaker...

closed half at 2426.4 ...we may attempt 2440 test again....looks like a consolidation and base building for the next move....
