Somebody decided to flip the switch on "antifa".  The entire ruling class media turned in unison.

2 weeks ago:

The ruling class and the entire media defend "antifa".

Now:

The ruling class and the entire media condemn "antifa"

I am concerned that this video of Antifa beating a 16 year old Trump supporter will cause the public to turn on us.

Ironic that Charlottesville may turn out to be the tipping point that crushes American neo-Nazis, the KKK, and finally the Southern Confederacy.  But mob rule is not good no matter what.  Bad.

What do you think, stocks?

Mika Brzezinski signs three-book deal with Weinstein Books - (This is how they play the "Media/Political" game.)

Mika (from TV show "Morning Joe") trashes Trump and is rewarded with a rich book deal from Weinstein.

(Megyn Kelly trashed Trump and was rewarded with a rich book deal from Rupert Murdock and is now a "media star".

The Enemy of the People

Trump is correct about the dangers posed by our media which has nearly always been in the War Party’s pocket. As Glenn Greenwald pointed out, war serves their purposes both ideologically and in terms of the bottom line.

The same media that lied us into Iraq – the New York Times, the Washington Post, CNN, NBC, etc. ad nauseam – is now telling us that the President of the United States is a Russian asset. Should we believe them? Their record tells us we should turn our backs and cover our ears.

In response to the laughable assertion that Trump is “demonizing” the media, some anonymous wag on Twitter – who calls himself/herself “Russian Bot” – laid out the sickening record of our “free” media in the run-up to the Iraq war, arguably the worst disaster in the history of American foreign policy.

MSNBC and Daily Beast Feature United Arab Emirates Lobbyist David Rothkopf With No Disclosure: a Scandalous Media-Wide Practice

Rothkopf personally signed a contract with the UAE regime to be paid $50,000 every month to “provide day-to-day advice on the development of messages”; and to “prepare memoranda [and] talking points” for the “Embassy of the United Arab Emirates to develop and support specific programs and initiatives within the United States.”

Daily Beast readers  have no idea that he is paid a substantial sum by one of the region’s most repressive regimes to disseminate messaging on its behalf.

The Liberal Embrace of War

American interventionists learned a lesson from Iraq: pre-empt the debate. Now everyone is for regime change

Out of 76 editorials in the New York Times, Washington Post, the “big three Sunday morning talk shows” & PBS News Hour, ZERO came out AGAINST the removal of Maduro.

“Corporate news coverage of Venezuela can only be described as a full-scale marketing campaign for regime change.”

Earlier this month, onetime fierce Iraq war opponent Rachel Maddow went on TV to embrace John Bolton in a diatribe about how the poor National Security Adviser has been thwarted by Trump in efforts to topple Maduro.

“Regardless of what you thought about John Bolton before this, his career, his track record,” Maddow said. “Just think about John Bolton as a human being.”   https://www.rollings...r-trump-836344/

Fox News is now overtly anti-Trump.  They have their orders from the new owners of Fox.  This is just the beginning:

During Sunday’s New Hampshire town hall, Mayor Pete Buttigieg trashed Wallace’s Fox News colleagues — two of the network’s biggest stars (Tucker Carlson and Laura Ingraham ) directly to Wallace’s face and Wallace said nothing in their defense:
