TD Combination™ and TD Analog™ sell signals printed at the close yesterday in the $RUT daily chart at a high hitting the .886 retrace of swing from the July 21 high to the August 18 low at a time that correlates with prior inflections running about 30 degrees. The Hurst nominal peaks and troughs model using a May 1998 start date is suggesting a 40 day cycle (34.8 calendar days) high today and that this decline will be significant. A Hurst nominal peaks and troughs model using an October 1987 start date is suggesting a 40 day (42.5 calendar day) high here and brief but sharp dip here and then a choppy up to mid October and chop continuing into year end. Bill Williams MFI so far today is printing a pink "fake out", i.e. rising volume and little price movement, indicative of either a break out or a U turn.
