From the link:

What I’d like to see now is this market take a drop like an airliner that runs out of fuel in mid-air, a slam down that falls hard and fast enough to scare the complacency out of every long-term passenger in the first-class and economy seats alike. Can’t say the C word since that would insure we get no pullback at all…but down hard and fast enough would, as they say, clear the air.

For more and a chart:

Wonder of wonders and still wondering...

Good luck and good trading.

What timeframe are you getting this sell on ? 5-min, hourly, daily ?

P.S - I don't have any sell signals based on my system at this point.

Daily.

The price based signal (Nasdaq Comp) triggered today for tomorrow's open (finally). The breadth based signal (NYMO) and volatility based signal (VIX) have both been on sells since today's open.  The long-term breadth (NYSI) put in a sell in TradeStation for tomorrow's open. I will be in cash completely on tomorrow's open.

If the price action tomorrow agrees with me, I will buy puts as a day trade; and maybe inverse ETFs (SQQQ and UVXY), which could end up being held for a swing longer than a day.  In this bull market, I'm not at all sure it will follow through to the downside. Could easily get buy signals across the board if the market rallies again tomorrow.  That's just the way it is.

Been a great run the last 10 trading days.

FWIW, all my key momentum indicators went to Sells the other day (backed into them, but it is what it is). As such, when we got overbought on the hourly, I hit them at resistance. I'm short small.

I'm also about to cover if they give me the merest excuse! LOL!

Virtually no chance of an important top today, says the Actual Position Poll.
