You place so much faith on this cartoon character who has been threatening for over 10 years to fire missiles at the U.S.

If on some foolish whim, if he does, i feel sorry for North Korea, which will get annihilated in no time.

It's not me, it's the market.  Every time NK fired a missile market dropped sharply.  I'd not hold any longs over this weekend..............

Why only weekend ? They can also fire the missile on a weekday. So one should never carry longs any day by that logic.

If you are a trader you have to embrace risk. It's inevitable. I was long the day London subway bombing happened. That was the rudest shock to me as a trader, since the March 2000 crash. If i remember correctly the market gapped down something like 2% that day on the S&P. It's about 50 points in today's percentage terms. I was so shocked and my first reaction was to get the hell out at open, which was a correct decision. But i was frozen by fear that i did not get back long. The market recovered all it's losses that day and went positive. That was a pivotal day for me. The big lesson was, if the hourly trend is up, even a catastrophic news will bail you out. You just need to get back long again.

I am pretty sure i will get caught again in such a gap-down some day. I can't stop my trading based on such fears. You have to get over it or quit this business.

In fact firing missile would be bullish news. I would prefer that we go down without any news.

Agree. If everyone understands the cause of news, they will buy it. When the cause is uncertain, they panic.
