from what I can see, USD wire deposits paused, site limitations to US residents.

Usually what I found and the way I do it is fund fiat into coinbase and move the coins

out to these exchanges.

apparently in coinbase, to transfer USD from external bank to the USD wallet and it is released in 5 days.

can then buy only btc, ltc, eth at coinbase but they may been adding more coins.

can then transfer the coins to any other exchange for trading but then in this exchange

cannot easily trade back to USD just to other coins, its all screwed up because they dont know the

regulations or even retroactive actions for dealing with fiat.

Coinbase is not cheap in exchange fees but is about the most straight forward, so if you want

USD send the coins back to coinbase and sell for USD into your USD wallet there.

so I long ago I setup coinbase on dollar cost averaging. when I thought I made alot spent it or would be

much richer now.

the 5 days may not be a big deal at this point there is time getting late for btc and the action will switch over to the altcoins

and etherium tokens while bitcoin pullsback from 6888.

So you just leave your coins stored at coinbase then instead of an external wallet ?

At coinbase I leave ETH, LTC, BTC

I did move some BTC to Jaxx wallet for diversification.

All etherium tokens from various exchanges like etherdelta are moved to MyEtherWallet. It might be ok to leave some in Metamask too.

I do have some small balances in an exchange more liquid trading stock.

I do not have yet but will do gemini wallet next they let you swap between coins without going out to an exchange.

There might be some problem with leaving them in coinbase something about being said by a core developer, I may change that soon and put them on a hardware wallet, and some to Jaxx.

The push now in BTC is to get some before the Nov fork but we also see bull moves in other things like LTC is on a tear.

Whenever it happens, last 10 days of Oct, when btc pullsback from 6888, webbot said the momentum will move into the alt coins and tokens, I am heavy in the tokens

so we'll see if that works. I do approach them as long term investments in the new monetary regime, but do skim some when they rally enough to get my original ETH cost back.
