Below are two additional versions of the 1927-2017 Dow chart with fib and time extensions where one can more plainly see more of the fractal and Fibonacci patterns in the data.

The first is the prior Dow Yearly chart but this time closer up (1971-2017) with Fibonacci time and price extensions from major inflections. While it is difficult to get them precise due to hiding the monthly bars for the yearly indicator set up they print "fairly close".  BTW the Williams SMACD is reverted in these versions to its traditional 5/34/5 settings.

Some of the more significant Fibonacci relationships pertinent now are

1. The 100% fib time extension from the 1932 bottom to the 1974 bottom fails in this time frame.

2. The 100% price extension of the rise from the 1932 bottom to the 2000 top is close by

3. The 161.80 price extension from the 2009 bottom of the rise from 1987 bottom to the 2000 top is close by.

Following this close up chart is the full chart which includes pre 1971 Fibonacci time and price extensions.  These further illustrate that the long term Dow reflects the mathematical patterns of nature.

Here is a revised full data set with Fibonacci Price and Time extensions updated with the extension from the 1974 low to the 2000 high which projected the .382 time extension to the 2009 low.

Geo,

What are your thoughts regarding that the Demark signal is only at a six?
