Did a double take when I came across this - as it has been my supposition since the election that the only way to neuter the deep state(drain the swamp) was to send the marines into langley, it maybe a prelude to unsealing those 1800(?) sealed federal indictments that have amassed over November (think Saudi purge - US style). If this bears out, the financial implications could not be understated.

I have no idea about the veracity of the report and can only pray it is accurate.

FWIW, Financial Commercial Paper is yielding 7BP LESS than Non-Financial Commercial Paper. That's not Bearish at all. Nobody is showing the least bit of concern with regard to the health of the financial system.

Odd that no other news agency picked up on this.  It is either fake news or trumped up news (excuse the pun.)

"drain the swamp"  -  You seriously believe this will happen, under a questionable leadership ! At the end of the day, they are all insiders, friends, toasting their bubblies with each other. The middle class keeps getting conned from one leader after another.

Or it's not news.   They flew in a high-level official of the military or the CIA, a dignitary, or a valued agency asset (least likely).   If it had something to do with the fissures in the deep state, it would be something like what happened in Turkey with small factions commandeering fighter jets, attack helicopters, tanks, and armored vehicles.
