I have been using TOS for about 6 years,

 

And always knew it was a very nice piece of software. I had promised myself to actually learn what under the hood power it had.  Well I finally have been taking the time to do so and the scans it can do is nothing short of amazing!  If anyone here would like to swap knowledge I'm all in!

Are you using Thinkscript to create your own scans?

I did not do anything with scans, but used this code in the alerts section.  I use the text feature to my phone when I am out and about with this simple Stochastic.  Count me in.  Thanks ( I have been with them 7+ years as well, and for what it is worth, you can use their platform for free charts and quotes for free.  There commissions are a lot higher than IB, but there is no minimum trade requirement to maintain the charts and quote features)

Yes,  Just a bit... I am a member of theo trade and there is a unreal amount of free Shared scripts on there site even if you are not a member.

 

Here are a few of my Fav's... Feel free to save and explore.  The sizzle one is super hot!! I have it text me when a new stock has over 10k of unusual option volume.

Been with them almost since inception. Some great things, some things that are a little clumsy, and some I would like to see more, like an open platform for scripts, which they don't have, but ninjatrader  does.

 

A nice thing is that the scans can be imported into a dynamic watch list that updates when new symbols fit the criteria, and the platform will send you an alert.

 

A lot of fractal studies out there, and the LaGuerre / RSI one is terrific, either on it's own, or combined with other indicators.

 

If you're a member of Theotrade, you get Theotrade's option pricing at ToS ($1 per contract with no base fee, excluding futures options) and $5 per stock trade. It's worth the $100 a month for me at Theotrade for that alone.

Agreed 100% DowDiva,

 

But I thought it was .75 per contract? Heck regular rate is .75 plus 10.99 Thought theo was far better.  Actually more expensive if you buy 200 contract by far!

 

I love the text feature as well, LaGuerre  It got me in goog calls and amzn at the close Wends. and both killed it today.

 

What is your Favorite?  If I may ask?

 

Oh,  While I'm at it I have down Mon-Wends next week with a rebound thurs-friday.  So a LaGuerre that gave a sell signal today will be a great way to start the week!

Opinionated,

 

I thought it was 1.00, and I will check on t hat. Maybe it's different if you joined  Theo earlier than I (last March).

 

My favorite is the fractal pivot point, hands down. I'll pm you the link. It has support and resistance lines which I don't find useful except for SPY and low beta stocks, so I remove it usually.
