What does Hollywood's reverence for child rapist Roman Polanski tell us?

In 2008, film-maker Marina Zenovich caught the mood and pushed it further with her documentary, the queasily titled Roman Polanski: Wanted and Desired, which argued that Polanski was the victim of gross judicial misconduct during his case.

(In one of those ironies we can only appreciate in retrospect, this documentary, which presents an energetic case for the defence of a sex offender, was produced by the Weinstein Company.)

stocks,

Don't you think it is more ironic that a sex offender has to be defended everyday in the White House briefing room?

Or are you an obvious SOCKPUPPET?

The term now includes other misleading uses of online identities, such as those created to praise, defend or support a person or organization,[2] to manipulate public opinion,[3] or to circumvent a suspension or ban from a website. A significant difference between the use of a pseudonym[4] and the creation of a sockpuppet is that the sockpuppet poses as an independent third-party unaffiliated with the puppeteer. Sockpuppets are unwelcome in many online communities and may be blocked.

Publicists to steer stars away from Seacrest on Oscars red carpet

E! network execs say that Ryan Seacrest will host their Oscars red-carpet coverage on Sunday, in spite of shocking allegations that emerged Monday that he subjected his personal stylist to “years of unwanted sexual aggression.”

Seacrest has strenuously denied the claims, alleging that he’s being shaken down for cash and citing an investigation by E! parent company NBCUniversal that cleared him of wrongdoing.

Regardless, top Hollywood publicists tell Page Six that they will steer many of their stars away from Seacrest on the Oscar red carpet.

Film Academy Expels Bill Cosby and Roman Polanski From Membership

The move comes a week after Cosby was convicted of three counts of aggravated indecent assault brought against him by Andrea Constand. Cosby has been accused of sexual assault by as many as 60 women, a few of which testified at the emotional hearing.
