This is the main problem with my trading and any other small account trader out there. The markets are set up

to exclude traders with small accounts from being able to be profitable, I didn't say investors because that isn't the

issue. For me, the ideal futures contract would be ES=$10 per point, not $50, they set it up that way to overleverage

a small account into quick ruin. The other vehicle, options, is not much better, and you have to maintain above PTD

levels to trade with freedom to make it work, and theta and VIX drop are against you. ETFs are ok but you have to fund the entire position value so that doesn't work either. At present, I don't have a solution for this problem. I don't want to trade more than 0.6 to 1 leverage, which would be around 1 ES per a $60,000 account.

You can have a good system, but if the leverage is too high to survive a string of stops, it won't matter.

The best way to end up with a small fortune from active short term trading is to start off with a large fortune!
