Megaphones often come at the end of trends.   It would be the opposite interpretation.  Pennants are contracting patterns and occur in the middle of a trend.

The two lines of a triangle originate at the same point. The first one is a cup-and-handle at best..  Notice that it contracts on the right side. The second is just a break of top trend line.

It looks they want to take out SPX 2600 either by the close or by a gap down tomorrow...........

This looks a ST bottom and I just went covered short positions.

The signal is currently in Bullish mode.

Perhaps the VST is up, but from my perspective, the bools need to put their money where there mouths are... the SPX seems to have morphed into a bear pennant, which also suggests more work to the downside, before new ATHs will happen... twt.
