Multiple metals will be needed to cover the huge dollar supply the mad FED/Treasury printers have created. They'll need to use just about every "valuable" metal out there to back up all that paper: silver, nickel, gold, platinum, tin, palladium,iridium, vanadium, etc. If you want to keep your cash liquid, I suppose they could even use mercury. If something isn't done to stop the devaluation of the dollar before it goes into free-fall, the only metal you'll need to own is lead.
